EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN  MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION (CIRC) TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS DESKRIPSI SISWA KELAS III  SDN BALASKLUMPRIK 1/434 SURABAYA

Bahasa tidak hanya digunakan dalam pembelajaran, tetapi juga membantu siswa untuk terampil dalam berinteraksi. Dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah siswa harus bisa menerapkan empat komponen, diantaranya yaitu keterampilan menyimak, keterampilan menulis, keterampilan berbicara, keterampilan membaca. Keterampilan menulis dapat digunakan oleh siswa untuk mengungkapkan ide atau gagasannya ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Dalam suatu pembelajaran, guru memiliki peran penting dalam menerapkan strategi, teknik ataupun model dalam pembelajaran menulis deskripsi. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam keterampilan menulis deskripsi adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC (Cooperative Reading And Composition).

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC (Cooperative Reading And Composition) pada keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas III SDN Balasklumprik I/434 Surabaya. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Jenis rancangan penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Subjek penlitian adalah 29 siswa kelas III SDN Balasklumprik I/434 Surabaya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji korelasi berganda.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes layak untuk digunakan dalam penelitian. Uji validitas instrumen tes menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang digunakan valid, dengan rata-rata  0,866  >   0,367. Uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes reliabel dengan nilai r berada pada derajat reliabilitas tinggi, yaitu r = 0,668. Selain itu hasil rata-rata posttest adalah 80,93. Pada uji korelasi berganda diketahui bahwa  >  = 34,848 > 3,37. Jadi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading And Comosition) efektif pada keterampilan menulis deskripsi pada siswa kelas III SDN Balasklumprik I/434 Surabaya.

THE EFFECTIFNESS OF COOPERATIVE READING AND COMPOSITION (CIRC) AS ONE OF THE TYPES OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TO THE WRITING SKILL OF THE THIRD GRADE STUDENTS OF BALASKLUMPRIK 1/434 SURABAYA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

                Language is not only used in learning but also it is used to help the students to master in doing interaction with others. In Indonesia Language subject, the students have to apply four components, they are scrutinizing skill, writing skill, speaking skill, and reading skill. Writing skill can be used by the students to deliver their ideas to a paper. In the teaching learning process, teacher has important role in applying a strategy, whether it is technique or model in writing a description. One of leaning models that can be used by the teacher in writing description skill is Cooperative Reading and Composition (CIRC) model.

The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness ofCooperativeReading and Composition (CIRC) in writing skill students of Balasklumprik I/434 Surabaya Elementary School. The plan that is used in this study is experiment. Kind of experiment that is used is pre-experimental with One-Shot Case Study as the design. The subject of this study is 29 students of third grade of Balasklumrik I/434 Surabaya Elementary School. Data analysis technique that is used is validity, reliability, and double correlation experiment.

 The result shows that the instrument is suitable to use in a study. Validity experiment shows that the instrument that is used is valid with the average of  0,866  >0,367. The reliability shows the instrument is reliable with the value of r is high, it is r = 0,668. Furthermore, the result of post-test is 80,93. In double correlation experiment shows that > = 34,848 > 3,37. Indeed, the Cooperative Reading and Composition (CIRC)is effective in the descriptive writing skill in the third grade students of Balasklumprik I/434 Surabaya Elementary School.
